Photo Update!!

We recently had a camera on hand to capture some fun "Spit for Science" moments

One of our team members, Alex, watches 2 kids complete the "Stop Task"

Participants answer questions about themselves or
their child on our computerized survey

3 participants work enthusiastically on their spit samples

  1. This sounds great, but we (me and my family)would like to know what the spit is used for. Thanks!

  2. Hi, my name is Hrag, and I am one of the Senior Research Assistants at the TAG Project.

If you're child took part in the study, we would extract a genetic sample (DNA) from his/her spit. By analyzing the DNA sample, we hope to determine the sets of genes that are involved with/contribute to the manifestation of ADHD and OCD. In doing so, we hope to aid in the development of novel treatment methods and related diagnostic tests.
